According to GOP Representative Debbie Lesko, Democrats’ inability to take action at the border is deliberate, as they desire an open border.

During an appearance on “Fox & Friends First” on Friday, Republican Representative Debbie Lesko from Arizona claimed that the Biden administration and the Democrats are helping to fuel the migrant crisis at the southern border through their inaction, calling them “complicit.” Lesko also alleged that Democrats’ lack of action could be an intentional effort to keep the borders open, and criticized their two-year period of complete control over Congress and the presidency, during which they failed to secure the border.

Congresswoman Debbie Lesko, who has seen ample legislation being passed by the Democrats in Congress, believes that they are deliberately advocating for open borders, although she is uncertain of their intended purpose. On the House floor yesterday, Republicans passed a border security bill as a viable solution. However, the Democrats contested it, insisting that they should cooperate on a comprehensive plan. Despite being in control of the House, Senate, and Presidency for two years, they took no action towards securing the border and the immigrants are being victimized by the cartels, with girls being sold into sex slavery. The Democrats and Biden are involved in this issue, yet they have not done anything to protect the country. This is a grave and disheartening situation.

On Thursday morning, before the expected end of Title 42 by the Biden administration, migrants were observed arriving on the Mexican side of the U.S.-Mexico border.

On Thursday, in El Paso, barbed wire fences along the border barrier were being patrolled by the Texas National Guard, who were keeping an eye on groups of migrants, varying in size from a small crowd to over 200 individuals. Maj. Sean Storrud of the Texas National Guard mentioned that these groups have been waiting for the expiry of Title 42.

Storrud has stated that there will likely be no significant changes in the process at his particular border area since officials have been working under Title 8 instead of Title 42. However, many migrants seem to hold a different belief.

According to Storrud’s account to Fox News, many individuals are still waiting at the location due to uncertainty over the end of Title 42. These individuals have consumed a lot of false and confusing information from various sources, including social media, cartels, and well-meaning people. As a result, they are unaware of the consequences of Title 8 and struggle to discern the truth. Despite being informed by authorities that their actions are illegal, they are willing to wait and stay put at the location they are currently in.
